I had previously purchased the wide brim hat from SwimZip and absolutely loved it! So we bought the cap to see if was a good alternative to change up styles. We love the cap as well! It is good for when we have our son in his baby carrier and the back side doesn’t rub against the back like the wide brim hat. It has a flap in the back for that extra sun protection. I highly recommend the cap (and the wide brim hat) for great sun protection. We use them both alternately almost everyday here in Hawaii.
I purchased this hat for my 2 month old for a trip to sunny Florida. It was perfect. It kept his head, neck, and face protected from the sun. With the adjustable strap, he will be able to wear it for months to come
